Last updated: 4 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fiscal Desks (“Fiscal Desks”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit www.fiscaldesks.com, contact us or engage us for our services. We are committed to handling personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other data protection laws that apply to us.

1. Who we are

Fiscal Desks is a tax and business advisory firm headquartered at Ontario Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Fiscal Desks is the controller (or “Data Fiduciary” under the DPDP Act) of the personal data described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the service you are interested in and any details you share in a form, email, call or WhatsApp message.
  • Engagement information: when you become a client, information needed to deliver our services, such as trade licence, registration, financial, accounting and tax records, and identification documents of authorised signatories where required by law.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and similar usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 8).

We only ask for the information we need. Please do not send sensitive personal data through the website form; we will request it securely if an engagement requires it.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation or call back.
  • To deliver our tax, compliance, accounting and advisory services and manage our client relationship.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including record-keeping, anti-money laundering checks and requests from authorities such as the Federal Tax Authority.
  • To operate, secure and improve our website.
  • To send updates or insights you have asked to receive. You can opt out at any time.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit our contact form), to perform a contract with you or take steps before entering into one, to comply with legal obligations, or for our legitimate business interests where these are not overridden by your rights. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary with:

  • Service providers who support our business, such as hosting, email, accounting software and IT providers, under appropriate confidentiality and data protection terms.
  • Government and regulatory authorities (such as the UAE Federal Tax Authority or the Indian Income Tax Department) when filing on your behalf or where required by law.
  • Professional advisers and associated firms, where you have instructed us to involve them in your matter.

6. International transfers

Because we support clients across multiple jurisdictions, your personal data may be processed outside the country in which it was collected, including in the UAE and India. When we transfer data, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection as required by applicable law.

7. Data retention and security

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including any period required by tax, accounting or other laws. Enquiry data that does not lead to an engagement is deleted within a reasonable period. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

  • Ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate or incomplete data.

Where we process digital personal data of individuals in India, or in connection with offering services to them, we do so in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it. In particular:

  • Notice and consent: we process your personal data for the specific purposes stated in this policy and at the point of collection, based on your free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent or another legitimate use permitted by the Act.
  • Your rights as a Data Principal: you may request a summary of the personal data we process and the processing activities, the identities of those we have shared it with, and correction, completion, updating or erasure of your data.
  • Withdrawal of consent: you may withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, by emailing us. We will then stop processing your data for that purpose, unless retention is required by law.
  • Nomination: you may nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
